After walking away from the business world, Sawaya forged a new career as a modern day sculptor one block at a time. THE ART OF THE BRICK® is currently on an international tour, on view at Discovery Times Square until January 5, 2014, Gani- H’atarucha, Tel Avivi Israel to August 27 and Chia Tai Hall, Shanghai, China to October 27. His themes are adult and often quite serious but the playful nature of the LEGO® themselves brings out the kid in even the most serious art collector. His message to his fans young and old is that by using these colorful cubes anyone can think outside the box.
