It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year since we moved into our official headquarters at the Barker Hangar in the Santa Monica Airport.  As Art Los Angeles Contemporary began setting up their entrance several feet away from our front door, we thought it was a perfect opportunity to celebrate our anniversary with our very first installation.  We invited featured artist Gregory Siff to create a special work for us.  We’ve seen Gregory create site-specific work for Helmut Lang and participate in several gallery exhibitions and fundraisers but now the Installation office is an installation in its own right and a constant source of inspiration.  In a matter of minutes the bare glass windows were adorned with Siff’s signature characters including an open book that reads “Installation,” an airplane indicative of proximity to the runway and a horseshoe next to our decal.  Our office is now a living work of art fueling our creativity all day, everyday.
