While Art in the Streets at Geffen Contemporary MOCA has recently cast a national spotlight on what was once an underground world of street and graffiti art, Known Gallery has cultivated and exhibited works from those very artists all along, including influential artists RETNA, SABER and REVOK. Giving street artists a voice and space to exhibit, Known Gallery embraces artists who draw outside of the lines and desire to communicate their message on the gallery walls and outside on the streets.

If you haven’t seen it already drive by Michael Kohn’s Gallery on Beverly Blvd to view an original piece from RETNA on the exterior.
